Mark Shuman’s documentary Morphine “Journey of Dreams” has been making the indie film festival circuit. Vapors of Morphine have been participating in post-screening Q&As and gigs in support. Austin, TX and Salem, MA already. The Morphine documentary also screened at the DORF in Croatia.
Screenings and shows are scheduled in Kansas City and Chicago in April The film is playing the Middle of the Map Fest in Kansas City, MO at Alamo Drafthouse on Saturday, April 11 at 7pm; Q&A after with the Director and Bandmembers.
Vapors of Morphine are playing at recordBar that night, on Saturday 4/11 at 10pm.
On April 17, Morphine “Journey of Dreams” will screen at Chicago International Movies and Music Festival in Logan 3 at 7pm, followed by a Q&A.
After the film, VoM will play at the Abbey Pub on Friday, April 17 10pm. The band will fly back the next day in time to make their SATURDAY residency in Atwood’s Tavern in Cambridge! And they still find time for a some other shows! Three coming up with the Portlandband SeepeopleS:

Vapors of Morphine are accepting bookings around the world.
With a new year and a new website, we have a new gig.
We’ve been playing Atwood’s Tavern in Cambridge every Wednesday (more or less) since the spring of 2009; now in 2015, we have moved the gig to Saturdays. This is an exciting opportunity, not only because it allows us to reach a new audience (ie: people who work a regular 9-5 job), but we also will be working with an in-house sound engineer, and recording EVERY show. So… who knows? Maybe, if you show up, you’ll be on our next record!
